Special Announcement

ASN received notification earlier this week that a generous donor will underwrite 100 ASN members to attend a fundraising dinner for the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, to be held on April 3rd at the Statehouse Convention Center. The dinner features entertainment by Chuck Leavell, one of the most respected and sought-after piano players and keyboardists in modern music history, as well as one of the most dedicated and revered conservationists in the world. He has worked with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, The Allman Brothers Band, The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, Train and many others. Dinner program also features partial presentation of a film entitled Out on a Limb, which is about agriculture, the environment, animal husbandry, and how to deal with the current problems facing our country, especially in the area of education. Several notable speakers will present and the Arkansas Cultural Enrichment Award will be presented to P.Allen Smith. ASN members will be eligible to attend the event, normally $150 per ticket for $25 per ticket. We would like to fill 10 tables, so we need 100 members to attend. If you and your guests would like to attend this event please let us know before Monday.

Our participation depends on the number of you wanting to go, so please be sure to be counted! You can confirm your interest in attending by emailing us at EmailASN@gmail.com or by calling 501-837-7959.

P.S. Thanks for your support of Felder, we are still accepting donations and will be at the Farm on Sundays. Hope to see you there! Also, some events and announcements of interest are also listed below…
